According to Sendmail Pro's website, the difference in operation between sendmail and sendmail
pro is a gui interface for configuring sendmail and appear to be working in a coperative
venture with McAfee to provide anti-virus solutions. At a future date, there may be more notable
differences. In terms of virus protection, this is most notably of interest to Windows clients
and ironicly has little benefit to Unix users.
